Phobias Book

A phobia (from the Greek: φόβος, Phóbos, meaning "fear" or "morbid fear") is an abnormal and unreasonable fear of an object or situation that causes little or no harm. Unlike brief anxiety most people feel when they give a speech or take a test, a phobia is long-lasting, and causes intense physical and psychological reactions, that can affect an individuals ability to function normally at work or in social settings.

Phobias are very interesting, since there could be a phobia for practically anything. Most phobias are absurd and seem funny, the reason that someone could fear something that contains nothing which strikes fear.
